Andrew has over ten years of experience providing psychotherapy. Currently he supervises a team of therapists at a mental health centre, and maintains a private practice that focuses on issues affecting male youth and men. He is trained to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to address trauma, anxiety, and depression. He specializes in learning issues such as LD’s, gifted profiles, and ADHD, and transitional stages. Sometimes, other issues exist alongside mental health difficulties, such as gaming or drug addictions. Andrew recognizes it takes a holistic approach that is founded on a collaborative therapeutic relationship to support positive change.
Something that many clients find motivating about working with Andrew is his use of achievable goals to celebrate change and then maintain a “new normal” of emotional and mental health. He makes use of validated health tools that clients can access online in order to track their progress.
