Personal Statement:
I am a social worker licensed in the province of Ontario through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Ryerson University. I am licensed with FSRA (previously FSCO) for direct billing to HCAI for motor vehicle accident insurance and am able to provide direct billing to other insurance providers. My relevant training and experience includes crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and treatment of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My professional interests are interventions for traumatic brain injury, depression, suicide, trauma and PTSD. My knowledge and interest in these areas of practice gives me the ability to provide appropriate services and interventions to clients to promote improvements in independent functioning and emotional well-being.
