Personal Statement:
I specialize in individual and relationship focused psychotherapy and personal and professional coaching centred around supporting positive mental health and improving personal wellness. Services are rooted in core holistic, client-centred, humanistic principles guided by a neuroplasticity and a bio-psycho-socio-cultural perspective. This perspective is neuro-diversity positive and trauma informed. My approach is focused on building strengths and positive approaches to change. I encourage self-determination and authenticity as key components of healthy change. In addition to my university education, I have completed a 2 year American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) supervised training program in couple and family therapy, and both Multicultural and Management and Leadership Certificates from the Laurier University.
