Specialized Training:
As you are the expert in your situation, I will take time to attentively listen to your story, without judgement. You will be able to feel safe and accepted during our time together, as we explore your situation with open and honest hearts. We’ll identify tangible steps that will help you move forward and discover the life you’ve been hoping for. I incorporate a number of different modalities into my practice, drawing from the principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. This integrative approach will allow us to establish a therapeutic relationship that works best for you.
Personal Statement:
As a registered Social Worker, I aim to actively listen, witness, acknowledge and validate in order to help you ask questions, establish goals, and work towards achieving them. Together, we will remain open to learning and explore new perspectives and possibilities. Our sessions will help you feel calm yet motivated as we work to help you feel more self-confident and trusting. Through thoughtful reflection, you will be able to use a new lens to make decisions that you feel good about. Change can happen quickly when we problem solve together – let’s begin today.
