Specialized Training:
I am a Psychotherapist specializing in mental health and addictions with individuals, families and couples. I work with children, adolescents and adults who are struggling with various issues that may include; Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Autism, OCD, Bipolar Disorder and all forms of addictions. Depending on the clients needs, I generally use a combination of CBT and Psychotherapy in order to support clients when dealing with both the past and the present. While exploring your underlying issues and cause of these issues, you will be provided with coping tools to assist you in your day to day. I have been providing individual, couple and family counselling for over 13 years and pride myself on my ability to connect with individuals in a very non-threatening way and supportive way.
Personal Statement:
My practice and approach is very much about meeting you where you are at. We will work together in a safe, comfortable environment to meet your goals while better understanding your triggers and barriers. Clients have expressed a sense of comfort and a sense of safety.I also use mindfulness and meditation in my therapy, for clients who are open to it, as a I believe that mindfulness can be very effective particularly when addressing issues around anxiety and depression. Life is a journey and a process and I would be happy to join you on your journey in order to live a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
