Personal Statement:
I believe that everyone has within them the insight and capacities that they need to live a happy and meaningful life, and yet anyone can get stuck and need help getting back on track. My approach is to meet you with empathy, validation, and acceptance to gain a clear understanding of your situation, challenges and goals. By working together collaboratively and customizing a plan to meet your objectives, we can begin to discover and develop your inner strengths and wisdom to find a path forward. My clients describe me as compassionate, genuine, and real. Key values that guide my work include integrity, ethics, and confidentiality. Mindfulness based approaches have been an essential part of my personal and professional growth over the past twenty years, and they are a common foundation for my therapy sessions. In my early career, I was trained in Neuroscience, which provides helpful insights into mind-body connections.
