Personal Statement:
My grief counselling services would focus on: Enabling the clients to understand their grief responses; Assessing the clients’ grief status to identifying their concerns, strengths and struggles; Providing a safe and respectful environment for the expression of your intense emotions; Encouraging the clients to discover the impacts of losses in various aspects of their life in order to promote self-care; Planning for realistic goals, appropriate services and helpful intervention according to the best interest or uniqueness of the client; Introducing new or promoting the existing coping strategies for clients to face their own grief. This counselling is intended to help the clients in order to lead their life at the fullest possible potential in the present moment filled with peace and joy rather than treating grief as something to suffer, hide or deny.
