I offer individual, couple and family therapy for a wide range of issues including; divorce/separation, domestic violence, trauma, grief, co-parenting, substance abuse, school refusal, family conflict, eating disorders and mental health (specifically, anxiety and depression) Life is about the relationships that we forge with others as well as the one we have with ourselves. I have assisted many couples and families in improving their relationships with one another, providing them with the ability to communicate, respect and understand each other better.
I have been practicing as a Counsellor for 8 years. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work through Wilfrid Laurier University and I am trained in Cognitive Behavior therapy, Emotion-focused therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Mindfulness and Narrative therapy. Certification in Trauma Counselling and Collaborative Problem Solving.
Personal Statement:
I offer in home client visits for an additional $30 to make the process easier for you. As I understand at times it is often difficult to find child care, or it is difficult to leave your home. Or you can visit me at my office in Mississauga or Etobicoke. I want to make this process as easy for you as possible to ensure you get the help that is needed.
