I have several decades of experience and am pleased to share the wealth of knowledge I’ve gained during my career. I offer individual and couple therapy, and I am committed to doing everything I can to help and support a wide range of people and their concerns. I do, however, have some specific interests and areas of expertise: • Anxiety • Bullying • Coping Skills • Family Conflict • Grief • Illness • Life Transitions • Peer / Work Relationships • Personal Relationship Issues • Self Esteem • Trauma and Loss
Personal Statement:
Life can change in an instant, with unexpected and expected loss, challenges and difficulties. Some people need help and support when hit with an unwanted or unforeseen loss, challenge or difficulty – illness, death, trauma, separation, personal relationship issues, self-esteem issues, infertility, infidelity, loss of a job, loss of hope, loss of a dream, loss of trust, loss of being needed. While loss and tribulations are a natural part of life, when feeling heartbroken and trying to navigate through this new terrain, life can be very painful, confusing, overwhelming, exhausting and frightening.
I want to ensure that people have access to compassionate and professional support, in a trusting, respectful and caring therapeutic relationship, so they can survive and even thrive while learning to heal and grow. In addition to professional qualifications as a therapist, I bring extensive life experience and first-hand knowledge about dealing with trauma and loss.
