Specialized Training:
Are you a teen or parent feeling lost despite your best intentions? Does feeling unmotivated and stuck leave you isolated, anxious and without hope? Creating change can feel overwhelming but through supportive, non-judgmental dialogue you can begin to better cope with the feelings, thoughts and behavior patterns associated with your life's challenges. In safe, respectful therapy sessions, I will support you to the very best of my abilities. With two decades of work in mental health services, I've found that no one single approach is right for everyone and tailor my practice accordingly.
Personal Statement:
Specializing in work with adolescents, adults and families, I provide assessments, therapy and wellness program development at a Toronto based private school for girls. Prior to this, I spent 11 years at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) providing clinical services to children, adolescents, adults and families.
Post-graduate training: Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy, Incredible Years Parenting Program, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Benson & Henry Mind & Body Institute's Stress and Building Resiliency in Youth. " Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase". Martin Luther King, Jr.
