Personal Statement:
I offer a FREE 50 minute in-person consultations with no obligations for further sessions. "My philosophy is radical acceptance. Evidence-based theory dictates our as-is presence in the here and now results from best coping strategies known to us. Most coping strategies (from perfectionism to addictions) actually enable survival to one's best ability. The proof of this vital yet often elusive concept is that you are reading this right now... How have your coping methods enabled you to survive until this moment? I believe in honouring old patterns with awareness. Psychological paradox theory dictates that first we must recognize and accept what is holding us back, to then have the insight, motivation and capability to change it. Only sufficient support can breed readiness, motivation and ability to exchange old unwanted behaviours for new ones that match our true best self. I am currently offering free phone consultations to collaboratively screen therapeutic fit to each individuals needs.
