Specialized Training:
Throughout my thirty-year plus career, I have pursued training in a variety of areas to hone my clinical skills in the areas relevant to my practice. I am open to various clinical approaches and pursued training that fits with how I work best with clients.
Personal Statement:
My approach is to work collaboratively with you, as you ultimately are the expert on your own life and experiences. My goal is to help you to find ways to feel supported as you find the road that gets you through to a better place. My work is to help you to talk about what is happening, bringing out your thoughts and feelings rather than keeping them stored up inside. Once we can really look at what you are feeling and thinking, we can also begin to turn them around, like a prism, reflecting different light and colours with each turn. Through this process of turning the problem, reflecting on the different angles, your perspective and feelings can change. A new light, a new way of seeing yourself, and a new way of coping.
