Ms. Ruby Shah is a Registered Social Worker practicing Psychotherapy, with more than 20 years of clinical work experience in conducting psychological assessments. She has worked with clients in clinical, medical, and mental health settings at various hospitals in the GTA. In addition to English, she is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. Ms. Shah has additional training in Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Ms. Shah is thorough and comfortable in conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual and family therapy, psychoeducation around medical issues, information on self-care, and providing information on supports and resources in the community. She works from a strengths based framework of empowerment and uses principles of solution focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, and cognitive behaviour therapy.
