Personal Statement:
I am a therapist who takes a non-judgemental approach to counselling, and highlights the strengths of her clients in order to build self-esteem and foster a safe, positive environment for effective change to take place. I believe that each client is the expert of their own life, and work collaboratively with every individual to tailor my counselling approach to their needs. I have experience working with a range of clients, on various issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship issues, emotion-management, and life skills among others. Throughout the counselling process, I empower my clients and provide them with the tools and coping strategies necessary to help them overcome challenges, and achieve the goals they set for therapy.
