Personal Statement:
In my work with clients, I take a client centred approach that respects people as being the authority on their own experience and recognizes the key role that emotions play in our lives. I use an integrated approach to counseling that is informed by various therapeutic modalities as well as by my extensive clinical experience, but always with a focus on the uniqueness of each individual and customize the treatment plan for each client according to her/his individuality. Over the years, I have effectively helped many people adjust for better lives - helping them learn the strategies and tools necessary to resolve their difficulties and build on their strengths. In addition to my private practice, I am also working as a mental health clinician at Toronto Western Hospital, University Health Network. I have been working there as a mental health clinician since 2007. There I work with patients who are diagnosed with various mental illnesses such as: MDD, OCD, PTSD, postpartum depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, early psychosis etc.
