I have supported youth and adults with developmental disabilities, as well as caregivers, for over 15 years. I have specialized training in grief and loss, trauma-informed practice, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Personal Statement:
Courtney is a Registered Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Social Work from UBC. Her background includes working with individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities, and has supported youth, adults, caregivers, and families in Kelowna, BC, for over 15 years.
She believes that every individual has great internal strength to discover themselves, what they need, and has the ability for positive change.
Her modalities of therapy include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. However, she adapts her approach for each individual client and what they need.
Courtney values a holistic approach to mental health, and looks forward to collaborating with clients as they are the experts in their own lives.
