Personal Statement:
Psychotherapy is an invaluable process that can benefit your overall emotional and mental health.
It can help you develop an awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviours that keep you stuck. You will be assisted in developing deeper insight into the patterns that are causing you to experience emotional distress and preventing you from making changes that will help you move forward in a positive direction. I will guide and support you through this process of change through the integration of evidence based strategies and tools.
Counselling sessions will unite an integrated healing approach that focuses on the mind, body and soul. I will work with you individually to develop a plan that best meets your needs, wishes, and aspirations. My approach with you may involve Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic therapeutic techniques.
I believe in collaborative therapy sessions and will start from where you are positioned. I will ensure you are well informed about the therapeutic interventions, coping tools, and resources to help manage your symptoms. My hope is to assist you with taking steps towards your goals identified.
